Our Association runs competitions for
amateur lady golfers within the County of Lancashire who are 50 years of age
and over. Our members have a wide range
of golfing ability and we believe that our events reflect this.
Our Championship and Silver Meeting is open to all members with handicaps of 20.4 or less. The first day is a medal with both scratch and handicap prizes, and then the best 16 scratch scores go onto to play matchplay over the next 2 days. The Champion leads out the Richardson Trophy team against all the other five Northern Counties. Click here to find out more about the Richardson Trophy and the Northern Counties.
The Silver Slipper is also an individual competition for members who are 65 and over. Apart from the prize for the winner there are 4 age category prizes.
Six of our competitions are 4 ball team events, which have proved extremely popular with our members, and the final team competition is the Cecil Leitch Trophy, which is a better ball competition played with 5 clubs.
As a result we believe we have something for everyone. Lancashire Seniors golf gives all our members the opportunity to make new friends and renew old friendships, both inside and outside the County.
Our current membership is approximately 625.
So if you are a lady over 50 years of age, a playing member of Lancashire Club, and have a current CONGU handicap, and you are interested in finding out more about our conditions of membership, please email our Membership Secretary at email@example.com
