About the Association

The Association, which was first formed in 1931, is dedicated to providing all our members with the opportunity to play golf in both individual and team competitions.

We have 7 team events per year, all played in fours to ensure that members have enjoyable days out.

For those of you who like to play competitive matches off scratch, we also run the LCSLGA Championship, which is a three day event. The first day is a medal with both scratch and handicap prizes, and then the best 16 scratch scores go onto to play matchplay over the next 2 days. The Champion leads out the Richardson Trophy team against all the other five Northern Counties, Cheshire, Cumbria, Durham, Northumberland and Yorkshire.

We also run the Silver Slipper, which is an individual stableford for members who are over 65.

Our current membership is approximately 600.

We believe that Lancashire County Senior Ladies' Golf Association has something for everyone and gives our members the opportunity to make new friends and renew old friendships, both inside and outside the County.
