After a successful Championship at Pleasington GC where Adrienne Bennett became our Champion and where the sun shone on us all we now move onto the Northern Seniors Championship at Preston GC.

What a fabulous day weather wise we had for the qualifying round of the Northern Senior Championship on Tuesday 21st May. The course was in amazing condition and the greens were great too. A number of our players were successful in qualifying for the knock-out stage and the 2nd flight, the results can be seen on the NVCLGA website. Congratulations  goes to Lancashire for winning the nett team prize - the 3 players were Gill Jolleys, Mary Singleton and Penny Beckett all producing net 71’s.

The first rounds of the knock-outs were played on Wednesday morning but sadly the afternoon rounds were cancelled due to the fairways becoming unplayable with all this rain we are having. Play will commence at 8.30am Thursday morning. Good luck to all our Lancashire players.

If you are making changes to your teams for our competitions, any replacements must be fully registered and paid up members of the Association. CHANGES CANNOT BE MADE ON THE DAY. Please email the Organisers for each event with the details of the replacement, (Name, Club, Handicap Index) no later than 24 hours before the event. Replacements whose details have not been submitted 24 hours before the event will not be allowed to play on the day.

If the replacement is not a member of LCSLGA please direct her to the Membership Page of this website in sufficient time, (7 days before the event) to ensure that her membership application can be approved and her subscription paid by Bank Transfer and acknowledged.

If one of your team is not a member she cannot be entered on the system, therefore, your team score cannot be entered, and the competition and results cannot be processed.

Entries for our 2024 competitions have now closed. Start sheets are now available,  remember that you will need to sign in, under the "Membership" tab in order view them.

The Northern Foursomes will be held at Eaton Golf Club, Waverton, Chester. The tournament has been postponed due to the weather and the new dates are Monday 19th - Wednesday 21st August. All players will have to register with the Cheshire Golf Genius, this is because each GG system is separate. Players can register at any time.  https://cclga.intelligentgolf.co.uk

The Brenda King Foursomes Championship will be held at Belton Park Golf Club, Lincolnshire, from Monday 29th July - Wednesday 31st July.
